History & Mission

Established in 2009, Beebox Training offers training outside the box.

History

Leading on from the Global Financial Crisis (GFC), Australia introduced the National Consumer Credit Protection Act (NCCP) and the National Credit Code (NCC). The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) launched Regulatory Guide 206 Competence and Training. Table 1. of this guideline outlines the training requirements for all persons engaged in credit-related duties on behalf of an Australian Financial Services Licence.

Regulatory Guide 206 recommends the completion of 10-30 hours of ‘job-specific’ training annually; and, calls for an explanation if this amount of time cannot be allocated and measured.

Mission

Beebox Training entered into the market place and introduced a training course specifically for mercantile agents and associated businesses. With a purpose-built online training platform, they were able to reach all of Australia and supply annual compliance training relevant to the industry needs and demands.

Beebox Training’s thinking was simple; 1 standard, 1 course, 1 certificate, that's 100% relevant. A compliance training solution appraised by the industry.

Beebox training can host other training courses on behalf clients, such as policy and procedure training or financial institution best practices. If this interests you, please get in touch.
